After a long wait, Apple TV has finally given an exciting update about Ted Lasso. The hit sports comedy drama series debuted in 2020 and will return for Season 4.
Ted Lasso will officially premiere Season 4 in the summer of 2026, per The Hollywood Reporter. The streaming service hasn't officially confirmed an official release date, but this is the most definitive update about its release window yet. Plus, it will also come with a big change.
The hit sports comedy drama followed Jason Sudeikis' titular character for the first three seasons as he tried to coach an English soccer team. However, Season 4 will pose a big challenge for Ted Lasso: a women's soccer team.
The official logline for Ted Lasso Season 4 reads, "Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would."
