Here are some photos from a recent trip to Solvang, California, known as the Danish Capital of America. It's a themed town established in 1911 by Danish Americans. It's a very popular destination, and a local advised me that weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas are extremely busy—"avoid holiday weekends!"
