2025 marked my 7th RAGBRAI a bicycle tour across Iowa. Each year, the route changes, but it consistently begins in the west and concludes at the Mississippi River after 7 days.

Around 20,000 riders travel through small farming towns, and we have a great time. Some days are challenging due to the 4 Hs: headwinds, heat, humidity, hills, and occasionally rain. The challenge makes the fun even more enjoyable.

This year, I brought 2 cameras and 4 rolls of 35 mm film. Some of the film was treated to create some wild color shifts.

These are some shots from an Olympus XA camera with 35mm "jelly" by dubblefilm, a company in Spain.

They say

dubblefilm was born from the desire to see the world in different tones. For perfection you have digital, for an alternative view try our films!

With 36 exposures and ISO 200, jelly is all about surprise and delight, featuring random color gradients that transform each image into a unique and colorful creation. Imagine your photos with unexpected blends of hues that create a whimsical, dreamlike feel, turning ordinary scenes into extraordinary visual stories.
