Inside the 49ers' Super Bowl hotel – 25 miles from Strip to keep players away

THE San Francisco 49ers will be based far away from the madness of the Las Vegas Strip during Super Bowl week.


Kyle Shanahan's side will be staying at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa, which is about a 30-minute ride to the famed Las Vegas Strip.


The move is designed to keep the 49ers – as well as Super Bowl LVIII opponents, the Kansas City Chiefs – away from the distractions of Sin City.


Super Bowl participants are prohibited from engaging in any form of gambling, including casino games and betting on any sport during their time in Vegas, per league rules.

...amenities include a luxurious swimming pool with private cabanas, indoor and outdoor dining, a fitness center, and a spa.


The hotel also offers access to two Jack Nicklaus-designed courses – the Reflection Bay Golf Club and SouthShore Golf Club.


The Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort is also adjacent to MonteLago, a Tuscan-inspired village with a marina, shops, and water sports.
