The 2021 Lafayette Art & Wine Festival has been cancelled

The 2021 Lafayette Art & Wine Festival has been cancelled.

One of the many charms of the Lafayette Art & Wine Festival is how it integrates into our downtown and allows people to freely mix and mingle at vendor booths, local businesses, local restaurants, and music stages.

But as we all know, there has been a significant setback in the public health response to the pandemic, driven by the delta variant and low vaccination rates (not in Lamorinda, but elsewhere). Logistical issues have made it impossible to implement effective guidelines or rules to allow for a safe and comfortable event for everyone. Therefore, the 2021 Lafayette Art & Wine Festival has been cancelled for this September.

We thank our volunteers, especially our committee members and the Chamber Board, our partners, and of course, all our sponsors, beer & wine booth hosts, vendors, artists and musicians for understanding that the health of our community is of utmost concern.

We look forward to a terrific 2022 Lafayette Art & Wine Festival where we can once again welcome everyone to our charming downtown and celebrate together with amazing music, art, food, wine, beer, shopping, and friendship.
